Dana Keir

Senior Vice President, Head of Claims

Dana Keir joined Golden State Claims Adjusters in 2018. Mr. Keir has over 24 years of insurance industry experience in a variety of lines.

He began his career in 1994 with State Farm Insurance handling personal and commercial property & casualty lines. In 1998, he started with Lancer Claims Services (a Brown & Brown Company), a nationally recognized third party administrator that specializes in professional liability and general liability programs. Over his 20 years with Lancer, he played key roles in developing and implementing the strategic plan for the organization, the policies of the organization and maintaining and advancing the company philosophy. His diversified insurance experience includes the areas of Legal Malpractice, Insurance Agents Errors & Omissions, Broker/Dealer Errors & Omissions, Real Estate Agents Errors & Omissions, Title Agents Errors & Omissions, Miscellaneous Errors & Omissions, Employment Practices Liability and Commercial General Liability. He is a key and integral asset and partner for program administrators, account executives and brokers in managing program business. During his tenure at Lancer, he was instrumental in managing relationships and claims for over 12 insurance companies, many of which are global insurers (example: Lloyd’s, Allianz, AIG, Zurich, Munich Re).

Mr. Keir obtained his Bachelors Degree from UCLA. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), where he has been a guest speaker for the local chapter.

Scott Struble

Assistant Vice President

Scott Struble joined Golden State Claims Adjusters in 2014. His experience encompasses the areas of Construction Defect, Construction Injury and Property Damage claims for Golden State.

Prior to joining Golden State, Mr. Struble was Assistant Vice President/Claims Director for Zurich North America, as well as supervisor at EMC Insurance and CNA Insurance. His experience includes over thirty years handling and supervising General Liability, Auto (Commercial and Personal Lines), Inland Marine, Garage Keepers and First-Party Property claims.

Mr. Struble attended Arizona State University and has been a panel member on various Construction Defect Panels over the past 10 years.

Tracy Leek

Claims Manager

Tracy Leek joined Golden State Claims Adjusters in 2020. His experience encompasses the areas of Construction Defect, Construction Injury and Property Damage claims.

Prior to joining Golden State, Mr. Leek was a Team Manager for Zurich North America, as well as file handler and supervisor at OneBeacon Insurance. His experience includes over twenty years handling and supervising Construction Defect and General Liability claims.

Mr. Leek attended California State University at Los Angeles and has been involved in leading many Construction Defect handling and coverage training courses.

Mike Moreno

Claims Supervisor – Surety

Mike Moreno joined Golden State Claims Adjusters in 2019. Mr. Moreno has over 12 years of insurance industry experience, mostly in the field of surety.

Prior to joining Golden State, Mr. Moreno was a Bond Claim Supervisor with Tokio Marine HCC. He began his career in insurance in 2006 with Infinity Insurance handling personal auto claims. In 2008, Mr. Moreno joined Tokio Marine HCC as a Bond Claims Examiner. During his tenure with Tokio Marine HCC, he investigated and audited claims on Contractor’s License Bonds and License and Professions Bonds from various states. His experience includes research of the Arizona Revised Statutes, California Business and Professions Code, California Civil Code, Colorado Revised Statutes, Nevada Revised Statues, Oregon Revised Statutes and Uniform Building Code for surety bond claims. Mr. Moreno became a Bond Claims Supervisor in 2011 and was one of the people responsible for developing and implementing bond claims practices for Tokio Marine.

Mr. Moreno obtained his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from California State University – Long Beach.
